The evidence-based path for skillfully navigating stress.
Mindfulness‑Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a structured, evidence‑based program developed at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and validated in thousands of peer‑reviewed studies.
Over eight weeks, you learn practical skills for meeting challenges with clarity and choice, and fundamentally shift your relationship to stress.
You’ll come away with:
Tools to interrupt stress‑reactivity before it takes over
Foundational skills in meditation, mindful movement, and body awareness
A daily practice that endures long after the course
A small, committed cohort that supports accountability and shared learning
“You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf.”

ORIENTATIONLaying the foundation.
A welcoming session that clarifies the path ahead. You meet your cohort, understand the commitment, and begin with confidence.
WEEK 1There is more right with you than wrong.
Introduction to the practice and the foundational act of paying attention. We begin with the body scan and explore how often we move through life on autopilot.
WEEK 2Perception shapes everything.
How we frame an experience determines how we live it. We examine perception and begin sitting meditation.
WEEK 3Being in the body.
Mindful movement and the body as an anchor for presence. The experience and information available when we actually inhabit the present moment.
WEEK 4Understanding stress reactivity.
What stress does to the mind and body, and how automatic patterns take hold. The science and the space to choose differently.
WEEK 5Responding instead of reacting.
Discovering the gap between stimulus and response and learning to act from clarity rather than habit.
WEEK 6Handling difficult communications with skill.
Bringing the practice into stressful situations involving other people. Applying mindfulness to relationships, conflict, and difficult conversations.
ONE DAY SESSION (SAT OR SUN)A day of immersive practice.
A guided, immersive day of practice that deepens everything you’ve learned and strengthens your capacity for sustained presence.
WEEK 7Building a practice that lasts.
Lifestyle, interconnection, and the choices that support long‑term practice. Making mindfulness a way of living.
