El Camino de Santiago, walked as an evidence-based practice.

An immersive beginning, or a deliberate return

TWO WAYS TO WALK

Alt de Perdon on El Camino de Santiago

New to the Practice

An 8-day mindfulness retreat on the ancient pilgrim path. Take the fastest, most immersive way into a practice that holds.

Deepening your Practice

A practice refresh and a new challenge further along El Camino. Meet yourself where you are now, and notice what arises along the path.

Whichever path fits, no experience is required — you do not need to be a meditator, and you do not need to be a hiker.

Five routes, graded to anchor your wellbeing

CHOOSE YOUR ROUTE

Every Mindful Adventures route walks a different stretch of El Camino de Santiago — chosen to match where you are in your practice, not just how far you want to go.

Develop your mindfulness practice through a Mindful Adventures immersion

Developing the Practice

Lay the foundation for sustainable wellbeing with the proven mindfulness based stress reduction program (MBSR). Walk iconic sections of El Camino while developing awareness of what you're carrying, and practice meeting your life rather than reacting to it.

Tier 1 Trips:

Deepen your mindfulness practice through a Mindful Adventures immersion

Deepening Your Skills

With the basics under your belt, these journeys invite you to stretch your skills. Walk through the heart of timeless Spanish landscapes, facing challenges in community, and finding center each time the path pulls you from it.

Tier 2 Trips:

Embody your mindfulness practice through a Mindful Adventures immersion

Embodying Resilience

Inhabit your practice in real time: meeting quiet moments with ease and responding to others without losing yourself. The inner stillness you embody on the trail becomes the way you meet your life long after Santiago.

Tier 3 Trips:

Your Guide: Robin Patino

Robin walked her first Camino in 2010, exploring the land of her ancestors on foot and connecting with her grandfather's birthplace in Galicia. She wrote about the journey in her book, Do You Think You Will Break?, and began guiding Mindful Adventures in 2013, supporting others through El Camino's transformative journey.

A Qualified MBSR Teacher (Brown University) and RYT-500 yoga educator, Robin has taught mindfulness, yoga and psychospiritual development since 2009.

Every route, she walks herself. Every day's practice, she leads in person. For all eight days, you're not walking alone.
