Not a tour.
Not a luxury retreat.
Something different.
You are here because something in your life has become too loud, and you’re craving a reset — a quiet place where your body can settle, your mind can clear, and you can reconnect with what feels steady and true.
Whether you’re navigating burnout, a major transition, or simply sensing the need for deeper recalibration, you’re ready for a different kind of restoration.
The Quiet Quest offers eight days of walking one of the world’s oldest pilgrimage routes with a guide who has traveled it many times and brings 40 years of evidence‑based mindfulness science to every step.
This is a structured, expert‑led immersion in embodiment — letting mindfulness shift from something you do into something you live from — supported by lush green landscapes, quiet stillness, and the grounding rhythm of moving through nature.
As El Camino has offered pilgrims for a thousand years, the land becomes part of the teaching.
“You will arrive in Santiago different than you left. Not just rested. Restored. Empowered. Re‑inhabiting yourself.”
Is this you?
This retreat is designed for people who are:
Running on empty after years of high performance — professionally, personally, or both
Carrying chronic stress that hasn't responded to the usual fixes
At a crossroads — a career transition, a relationship challenge, a life that no longer fits
Ready to move from visiting the mindfulness practice and to embody living from it
Looking for an opportunity to dwell in the practice in the quiet support of nature
Curious about El Camino but wanting the experience held by someone who knows the path and the practice
You do not need to be a meditator. You do not need to be a hiker. You need only to be willing to walk, to slow down, and to listen.
Every day has its own rhythm, and its own invitation.
A DAY ON THE QUIET QUESTMorning begins with movement and a grounding walking meditation as the route opens ahead. The walking itself is the practice: miles of forest path, farmland, and ancient stone villages, held in the particular stillness that only comes when you are moving slowly through something larger than yourself.
The walking itself becomes the practice: a daily opportunity to deepen awareness of body sensations, to observe the mind with more discernment, and to experience being in the present moment.
Evenings are shared: a meal together, a group reflection circle, time for the day to settle. Then space: for journaling, for wandering, for doing nothing at all.
What changes on this walk
By the end of eight days, most participants find they have settled more deeply into embodying their practice, inhabiting it more fully than before. They arrive in Santiago carrying that steadiness home to everything waiting there.
Specifically, participants leave The Quiet Quest with:
A NEW RELATIONSHIP WITH STRESS
Not the absence of stress, but a new capacity to observe it without being at its mercy. Respond rather than react.
PRACTICAL MBSR TOOLS
Evidence-based practices that integrate into daily life and hold long after the trip ends — not just on retreat.
COMMUNITY
People who understand what you were carrying and offered support as you began to put it down. You are not alone in this.
A BODY THAT HAS BEEN MOVED
100km across northern Spain on your own feet. What this does to the nervous system, no office or screen can replicate.
CLARITY
Eight days of deliberate presence, away from the noise that usually drowns it out. The answers were always there.
A CLEAR NEXT STEP
The option to continue with MBSR, coaching, or workshops through Creating a New Now to keep the shift alive.
